The Mountain Home City Council has chosen Denbro Coffee & Custard to run the café at the new Community and Aquatic Center. This decision came after a careful selection process that involved four interested vendors. Mayor Hillrey Adams emphasized the importance of allowing potential operators to evaluate the space before making a decision. The café will occupy 883 square feet, with 771 square feet designated for customer service and 112 square feet for storage. Denbro Coffee & Custard, operated by brothers Jackie and Joey Denwalt, has been successful with their drive-thru location since 2022.
• Denbro will expand from a drive-thru to a full-service café.
• The café space will have basic infrastructure, while Denbro will provide its coffee equipment.
• Denbro has signed a minimum one-year lease and will align hours with the community center's schedule.
• The community center is set to open in spring 2025, featuring various recreational facilities.
This development is significant for the community, as it will provide a welcoming space for residents and visitors to enjoy coffee and snacks while engaging in activities at the center. Denbro's presence will enhance the community's food options, especially for those frequenting the nearby medical offices and facilities.
