Many families in South Jersey face food insecurity, making it hard to enjoy simple comforts like coffee and tea. The Community Food Bank of New Jersey (CFBNJ) has launched the “Cups for CAP” campaign to collect these items for the Community Assistance Pantry (CAP) in Egg Harbor Township. This initiative aims to provide dignity and choice to over 1,800 households each month by allowing them to select their preferred beverages.
• Donations of unopened coffee, tea, and coffee pods are requested.
• Items can be dropped off at CFBNJ’s headquarters or ordered online through an Amazon Wish List.
• The campaign runs until March 31 but accepts donations year-round.
• Other organizations, like Women Fighting Hunger and JFCS, also support local families by collecting essential items.
These efforts highlight the importance of community support. Small contributions can significantly impact those in need, reminding us that kindness and compassion are essential in challenging times.
