Cup of Jōb Expands

Cup of Jōb Expands

This weekend marks a significant milestone for Lifework Leadership as it launches its second brick-and-mortar coffee shop location, Cup of Jōb Community Café, in Murray Hill. The Christian nonprofit coffee house is dedicated to providing employment opportunities to women who have escaped sexually abusive environments, partnering with local organizations Rethreaded, Hadassah's Hope, and Girls of Virtue. The new location is a testament to the success of the first Cup of Jōb café, which opened in Jacksonville Beach in 2019 and focused on job placement for homeless individuals. The grand opening celebration will take place on Sunday from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at 934 Edgewood Avenue South. Lifework Leadership's approach to social entrepreneurship, using a business model to drive positive change in the community, is innovative. By providing a safe and supportive environment for women to rebuild their lives, Cup of Jōb is not only serving quality coffee but also fostering hope and redemption.
