Congregation Coffee Roasters Expands with New Uptown Café

A new café from Congregation Coffee Roasters is opening in Uptown, New Orleans, at 900 Jefferson Avenue. This location will welcome customers starting Thursday, July 24, and will be open from Thursday to Monday, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., with extended hours planned for fall. The café will offer a variety of coffee options, including signature blends and single-origin roasts, along with breakfast pastries from Ralph Brennan Bakery.

• The café is part of a recent expansion after Patrick Brennan took over the business in 2023.

• The flagship café in Algiers Point has been reopened, and a third location is planned for the French Quarter.

• The roasting operation is led by Zoe Underhill, who has overseen the roasting of over 28,500 pounds of beans in the past year.

• Congregation has also grown its wholesale business, partnering with major hotels and restaurants in the area.

This expansion highlights the brand's commitment to quality and community, aiming to serve more New Orleans residents with its locally roasted coffee and delicious offerings.
