A seasonal gig at the Somerset Collection has turned into a permanent home for Coffeehaus, a consulting firm focused on coffee services. The company is transforming a former Starbucks into a unique space that will include a kitchen for food preparation and an adjoining wine shop. Founder Luke Kirtley started with a pop-up coffee shop during the holiday season but has now secured a full-time operation. The new location is set to open in November, while the team continues to operate in a temporary space next door.
• Coffeehaus will feature a kitchen for sandwiches and in-house syrups.
• The wine shop, Lutine, will be staffed by experienced professionals from local restaurants.
• Baobab Fare is launching a pop-up to promote single-source Burundian coffee.
• Sepia Coffee Project is taking over a closed café to establish a new roastery and tasting room.
This expansion highlights the growing coffee culture in the area and the increasing demand for unique, high-quality coffee experiences. As these businesses flourish, they contribute to the local economy and enhance the community’s culinary landscape.
