Coffee with a Cause - Albuquerque Church Brews Up Community Impact

Citizen Church in Albuquerque opens a new campus with a unique twist. The new location features a 350-seat auditorium and a coffee shop, Citizen Coffee, which serves as more than just a place for a caffeine fix. The proceeds from the coffee sales support missions in troubled regions across the globe, including Thailand, Haiti, Mexico, and Kenya. This initiative helps fund projects like a baking school for women escaping sex slavery in Thailand and water delivery in Haiti. The new campus also includes a preschool set to open in the fall, aiming to be a community hub. Pastor Chris Cunningham emphasizes the church's mission to serve and benefit the local community. With the coffee shop open six days a week, the church hopes to raise substantial funds to support its global missions.
