Coffee Keller Henle has expanded its business by opening a new street-level sidewalk cafe in New Ulm, addressing accessibility and space issues. Located beneath Christmas Haus, the new setup includes four chairs and eight tables next to the shop's stairs, allowing those with mobility challenges to enjoy the cafe without navigating stairs. The idea, inspired by known accessibility concerns, received hassle-free approval from the City Council, requiring only a map and measurements. Customers can place orders via phone and have their items brought to the sidewalk cafe, though retail goods must still be purchased inside. Henle is excited to offer this outdoor dining option, noting the limited availability of such spaces downtown. The expansion also helps manage customer overflow during busy periods. The cafe now includes a grab-and-go service with new food items like shaker salads. Operating hours are Monday to Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
