A couple's dream of owning a coffee business has come true in South Lake Tahoe with the launch of Tahoe Mountain Grind Espresso Trailer. Sarah and Danell Tackitt opened their mobile coffee shop on May 9, 2023, after months of hard work transforming an old trailer. Their journey began in 2002 when they met while working at a drive-through coffee shop. Years of experience at Starbucks and Peet’s helped them refine their skills and prepare for this venture.
• The coffee trailer is located in Tahoe Valley Campground, open Thursday to Tuesday from 7 a.m. to noon.
• They serve Bare Roots Coffee along with a variety of baked goods, including gluten-free options.
