Exciting changes are coming to the coffee scene at The University of New Mexico. Starting in Fall 2026, students, faculty, and visitors will enjoy new coffee options as Starbucks moves to the Student Union Building (SUB) and a fresh vendor, Cà Phê Culture, opens at Zimmerman Library. Both locations will undergo renovations over the summer to enhance the coffee experience on campus.
• Starbucks will relocate to the SUB, a popular spot for students, providing a full-service coffee experience.
• Cà Phê Culture, created by the team behind Bing Tea, will introduce a unique coffee and tea culture at Zimmerman Library.
• Both locations aim to support the social and academic needs of the UNM community, offering inviting spaces for study and relaxation.
• The changes reflect a commitment to improving campus life and creating vibrant community hubs.
These enhancements matter because they aim to foster a sense of community and connection among students and staff. By providing familiar and innovative coffee options, UNM is creating spaces that encourage social interaction and academic collaboration, making the campus more lively and engaging.
