Chick-fil-A Tests New Coffee Drinks in Birmingham Market

A new test is underway for Chick-fil-A as they explore coffee drink options in Birmingham, Alabama. The restaurant chain is trialing several beverages to gauge customer response before potentially rolling them out nationwide. This testing phase includes two categories of drinks: Iced Coffee with new flavors and a unique Cream Cold Brew. The goal is to see how well these drinks perform in a smaller market.

Iced Coffee: Chick-fil-A expands its Iced Coffee offerings with new Caramel and Mocha flavors, alongside the existing Vanilla option.

Cream Cold Brew: This new drink combines cold-brewed coffee with a sweet cream blend, available in plain, Mocha, Caramel, and Vanilla flavors.

Taste Test Feedback: Initial reviews indicate that the Cream Cold Brew has a richer flavor and thicker texture, likened to a milkshake.

Testing Locations: Along with Birmingham, Tuscaloosa and Anniston are also part of the test, running from January 5 to January 31, 2026.

Understanding customer preferences for these drinks is crucial for Chick-fil-A. Successful tests may lead to permanent menu additions, which could enhance the brand's coffee offerings and attract more customers. This initiative reflects the company's strategy of using smaller markets to refine new products before a wider launch.
