Ceremony Coffee Joins FairWave Collective, Expanding Specialty Network

Ceremony Coffee Roasters, based in Maryland, has officially joined the FairWave Specialty Coffee Collective. This marks a significant milestone as it is the first member from outside the US Midwest. Founded in 2002, Ceremony Coffee has a roastery and six coffee shops in Maryland. The company will continue to operate independently under the leadership of its founder, Vincent Iatesta. The partnership aims to enhance Ceremony Coffee's operations through investment in system upgrades and café renovations.

• Ceremony Coffee is the 12th member of FairWave, which supports specialty brands.

• The collective helps local coffee brands with expertise and resources.

• Ceremony's identity and customer experience will remain unchanged despite the new partnership.

• FairWave also welcomed its first non-coffee brand, Hugo Tea, in October 2024.

This collaboration is important as it strengthens the specialty coffee community, allowing smaller brands to thrive. It also fosters innovation and quality improvements, benefiting both businesses and customers in the long run.
