International Coffee Partners (ICP) marks its 25th anniversary in 2026, having significantly improved the lives of smallholder coffee farmers since its founding in 2001. This collaborative effort among leading European coffee companies aims to enhance productivity and sustainability in coffee farming. ICP has invested 25 million Euros, mobilizing additional resources to support farmers and their communities. The organization focuses on understanding farmers’ needs and promoting a holistic approach that includes gender equity, climate resilience, and youth engagement.
• Over 125,700 farming families have participated in ICP projects across 13 countries.
• Sustainable practices and diversified farming have improved coffee quality and farmer livelihoods.
• ICP has supported over 2,700 farmer organizations, enhancing their access to markets and services.
• Training programs empower women and youth, with 45% of participants being women and 22% aged 18 to 35.
This initiative is crucial as it addresses the challenges faced by smallholder farmers, such as climate change and market access. By fostering collaboration and sharing knowledge, ICP demonstrates how collective action can lead to sustainable change in the coffee sector.
