Caribou Coffee Surpasses Expectations in Q4 Earnings Report

Caribou Coffee (NAS: CBOU) announced its Q4 earnings, surpassing both revenue and earnings per share (EPS) expectations. The company's revenue increased to $92.5 million, beating analyst predictions of $88.3 million and marking a 19% rise from the previous year's $77.9 million. Non-GAAP EPS was reported at $0.14, higher than the forecasted $0.13, and GAAP EPS grew by 14% to $0.24 from $0.21. Despite the financial growth, the company experienced a contraction in all margin areas; gross margin fell by 310 basis points, operating margin by 70 basis points, and net margin by 30 basis points. Looking forward, projections for next quarter's revenue are set at $80.4 million with an EPS of $0.06, and the following year's revenue is expected to reach $357.8 million with an EPS of $0.50.
