Caribou Coffee is set to open a new shop in Delaware, Ohio, this May, marking the coffeehouse's continued expansion in the state. This opening is part of an ambitious plan by franchisee Mike Mariola Restaurants to launch 60 locations in Ohio's central regions, including Columbus, Dayton, and Cincinnati. The Delaware location will be the third Caribou shop under the franchisee's operation, following openings in Wooster and Reynoldsburg. Caribou Coffee, with over 750 locations worldwide, is collaborating with Mike Mariola due to his strong reputation in Ohio's hospitality industry. The partnership is significant as it represents Caribou's first domestic multi-unit franchisee and signals a resurgence of the brand in Ohio after a nine-year hiatus.
