The trio has continued to offer the same beloved coffee blends and roasts that customers have enjoyed for years. Their journey began with a modified popcorn machine for roasting coffee, an endeavor that started as a distraction during Chris's chemotherapy treatments but soon turned into a full-time business. The Barbarians' commitment to environmental, social, and fiscal sustainability is evident in their pursuit of coffee perfection. The whimsical name and logo, inspired by the pirate Calico Jack and designed by Austin, add to the charm. With a menu featuring pirate-themed names, Calico Jack has quickly become a community favorite, open seven days a week.
