Bonfire Coffee Expands with New Roastery in Glenwood Springs

Bonfire Coffee has opened a larger roasting facility in Glenwood Springs, enhancing its production capabilities and customer experience. The new roastery, nearly double the size of the old one, allows for better storage of unroasted coffee beans and increased workspace. This expansion aims to improve the consistency of their coffee and reach new markets, including areas along I-70 and into the Vail Valley. The centerpiece of the facility is a high-tech Loring S15 Falcon roasting machine, which offers faster and more efficient roasting cycles. The front room serves as a retail space and sensory lab, where customers can learn about coffee through tastings and events. Bonfire Coffee plans to host a grand opening party to celebrate the new facility and engage with the community.

• The new roastery is 2,250 square feet, compared to the previous 1,200.

• The Loring S15 Falcon roaster is 30% larger and more efficient.

• The facility will host coffee tastings and educational events for the public.

• Bonfire aims to expand its distribution beyond the Roaring Fork Valley.

This expansion is significant for Bonfire Coffee as it not only increases production but also enhances customer interaction. The new facility allows the company to adapt to changing consumer preferences and improve its sustainability efforts. Engaging with the community through events will help build a stronger brand presence and educate customers about the coffee-making process.
