Bold Thief Strikes Twice at Puyallup Coffee Shop, Sets It Ablaze

A beloved Puyallup coffee shop faced not one but two burglaries within 72 hours. The thief, after nonchalantly stealing cash and a Red Bull, bizarrely left $10 in the tip jar during the first break-in. On his second visit, he escalated the crime by setting a fire under the espresso bar, which was fortunately controlled by the sprinkler system. The fire department quickly extinguished the flames, but the shop will remain closed for months. The thief, seen walking a dog after the arson, remains at large. Co-owner Bryan Reynolds is left puzzled and calls for justice. The community is encouraged to provide any information to the Pierce County Sheriff’s Department.
