Blackstone Perks Up with 7 Brew Coffee Investment

7 Brew Coffee, a rapidly expanding drive-thru coffee chain based in Arkansas, has welcomed Blackstone, a leading asset-management firm, as a new investor. While the financial terms remain undisclosed, the deal involved the sale of shares by Jimmy John Liautaud, the founder of Jimmy John's sandwich chain. Liautaud, who had been involved in a legal dispute with 7 Brew's parent company over financial transparency, praised the growth potential under Blackstone's wing. Since its inception in 2017, 7 Brew Coffee has grown from a single stand to more than 190 outlets, with plans for over 2,500 additional locations. The coffee chain offers a diverse menu with thousands of drink combinations and aims to become the "Dollar General of coffee" with Blackstone's support, which brings industry expertise and global resources to further accelerate expansion.
