Banker’s Brew, a new drive-thru coffee shop in Bartow, Florida, is quickly becoming a local favorite thanks to its unique concept and delightful offerings. Wendy and Mike McMillan, inspired by drive-thru coffee shops they encountered in Alaska, transformed an old bank into a coffee haven at 120 Polk St. East. Opened in 2023, Banker’s Brew charms customers not just with its bank-themed décor but also with its creatively named coffee menu. For an extra kick, certain coffee selections are infused with an energy drink. The shop also offers face-to-face ordering through the drive-thru, making the experience more personalized and less overwhelming for patrons. Besides coffee, Banker’s Brew serves light breakfast items like Belgian waffles and bagels, along with grab-and-go options such as turkey delight sandwiches and chicken salad. The community’s response has been overwhelmingly positive, and Wendy and Mike look forward to continuing to serve their unique brews and tasty treats.
