17g Coffee, a non-profit initiative from the Swiss Alps, is set to participate in World of Coffee Geneva 2025. This project is part of the curriculum at Collège Alpin Beau Soleil and Nord Anglia Education. The focus is on promoting specialty coffee while empowering female coffee farmers. Visitors to their booth can enjoy unique coffee tastings, interactive brewing demonstrations, and cupping sessions.
• Attendees can taste various coffees, such as Kenya Natural and Colombian Pink Bourbon.
• There will be live demonstrations of brewing techniques like Aeropress and V60.
• Special events include presentations on Kenyan coffees and live roasting sessions.
• The initiative supports female farmers in Kenya by providing training and resources for better coffee production.
This project is significant as it combines education with social impact. By reinvesting profits, 17g Coffee helps improve the livelihoods of coffee farmers, especially women, promoting sustainability and equity in the coffee industry. It serves as a model for how education can create real-world change.
