Madkat Coffee, an Australian accessories manufacturer, has launched the SkopeX Motorizer Kit, designed to enhance manual coffee grinders with motorization. Priced at AUD$309 (about US$203) for preorders, the SkopeX offers a more streamlined design and features like a spring-loaded knocker for residual grinds, an adjustable RPM module, and increased torque. It's compatible with various manual grinders and is particularly beneficial for achieving consistent RPMs, crucial for optimizing the grinding process. The motorizer is expected to retail for AUD$399 (US$262) post-preorder. This innovation not only makes grinding more convenient but also improves the consistency and quality of coffee grounds, potentially setting new standards for home coffee grinding.
