Astoria, the renowned Italian espresso machine brand, recently showcased its upcoming AB200 commercial espresso machine at the World of Coffee trade show in Copenhagen, Denmark. Set for release in early 2025, the AB200 will be available in one-, two-, and three-group configurations, as well as a compact two-group version. Key features include shot timers for each group, adjustable-height drip trays, lever-activated steam wands, and a custom portafilter design. Optional 3.5-inch touchscreens and the "Autosteamer" feature for programmable milk temperature and froth levels are also part of the package. Designed with removable side panels for easy maintenance, the AB200 boasts a retro-futuristic aesthetic developed in collaboration with Valerio Cometti and Studio V12 Design, inspired by industries like motor racing and aeronautics. Astoria also presented its new ASI40 Touch grinder, featuring a 3.5-inch touchscreen, 65-millimeter flat burrs, a 1.2-kilogram hopper, and cooling features for high-demand usage. This follows last year’s introduction of the Plus4You single-boiler commercial espresso machine.
